LACROSSE EQUIPMENT

Contact us via email:

trainwithfundamentals@gmail.com

We are experts in catering to a wide range of ability and experience levels! We want our campers to come with a full set of equipment for our game play portions of camp, but full gear is not needed for many of our skills, drills, and challenges. If you are new to the sport, don’t stress! We are happy to work with you! We also have some loaner gear available upon request! Below is the list of equipment needed for regulation game play:

Boys: Stick, Helmet, Gloves, Elbow Pads, Shoulder Pads, sneakers, cleats.

Girls: Stick, Googles, Mouth Piece, Sneakers, Cleats.

Note: Our K-2 beginner boys and girls can defiantly get by with just a stick!

Each morning we get started with stick skill routines a fun team building activity! Next up, groups will go through a variety of stations that focus on various offensive and defensive skills and concepts. We will work on dodging and shooting, defending, sliding/help defense, stick checks, stick protection, and more! Finally, we wrap up the morning with a game play session which is in the form of a pick up game for our older and more experienced campers and is in the form of fun PE style games such as “Hungry Hungry Hippos” for our younger groups! Following our games, it is time to head to the gym for lunch! Morning campers will dismiss at the end of lunch, while PM campers are invite to either join us for lunch, or arrive after lunch is over at 12:15pm. At this time we will repeat the same format for the PM campers as we followed in the AM, but of course, we mix up the drills, games, and challenges to keep it fresh and exciting for our all day campers! We wrap up each day with a “Camper of the Day” and dismiss from the gymnasium at 3pm. All campers will be offered a snack in the morning and in the afternoon during one of our water breaks. These snacks are provided by the camp!

We are so fortunate to have indoor and outdoor spaces which means we won’t need to worry about the weather! Space is limited in all camps and we will fill our camps on a first come first serve basis! Quality is our top priority, so once our camps are full, we will be unable to add any new campers. This is how we ensure your child will never come home and tell you how much they “waited in line”. We keep all of our campers involved via small groups and
