“My son really enjoyed the K-5 program. Having never picked up a stick before it was amazing to see his progress over the weeks of instruction. Coach Rob and his staff coach in a methodical way and a way that kids enjoy. Excellent program for kids with or without any experience!”

“We could not be happier with the Fundamentals Lacrosse Academy. Due to Covid-19 our sons normal sports of Football and Wrestling were cancelled and as a very active youth we were struggling to find an outlet for his energy. We found a Lacrosse Travel team that was holding tryouts that he was interested in, but was uncertain as an 8th grader if it was too late for him to pick up a new sport, so we enrolled him in FLA to test the water. It could not have been a better way for our son to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse. The instructors/coaches were very knowledgeable and had specific drills and activities designed to challenge players at all skill levels and experience yet still feel comfortable and more importantly having fun doing so. Thanks again Coach Hokanson for preparing him. He made the team and has several new friends/teammates. Now our son has a sport he loves in the Spring, Fall and Winter!”

“Fundamentals Lacrosse Academy was a brilliant way to help my high school son improve his lacrosse skills. The clinic covered setup skills, catching and throwing, and taught valuable running plays. My son played with more motivation than I have seen with other clinics, all while having fun. The groups are small enough that each student receives one on one attention with the coach, yet they are able to test out the new skills learned with other players during 2v2 thru 4v4 scrimmages. The skill clinics run a few times a week and make good use of time with warm up exercises, skill sets, and scrimmages using skills learned. Coach Hokanson and his team of coaches are absolutely the best. They care about their students, they are ethical, and they use great coaching mentoring skills to motivate the students into wanting to be better players.”
